The National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) has formally opened the 2025 application procedure.

Applications at the moment are open and can close on fifteen December 2024.

*** Who qualifies for NSFAS funding

To qualify for NSFAS funding, an applicant should meet the subsequent requirements:

• Be a South African citizen or copyright who comes from a house with a combined gross house earnings that does not exceed R350 000 for each annum.

• Individuals with disabilities qualify if their combined home income would not exceed R600 000 per annum.

• SASSA recipients immediately qualify for funding and wish not post any evidence of income.
